As part of the City of Boulder’s Business Vitality Program, the  City Manager has approved Zia’s flexible rebate application.

“The city is proud to be home to Zia Consulting, a leading content management consulting company that recently expanded into a new Boulder office,” said City Manager Jane Brautigam. “The city is confident the flexible rebate will assist Zia as it establishes its new headquarters and will allow the company to be a positive force in the community for many years to come.”

The flexible rebate program uses social, community, and environmental sustainability guidelines. Companies choose the guidelines that best fit their circumstances and must meet minimum requirements in order to receive the rebate. Zia Consulting has exceeded the requirements. Of note, the Zia Incubator of Giving (ZIG) program has resulted in food and clothing drives and is developing a partnership between local nonprofits and tech companies. In addition, the company contributes to the cost of City of Boulder annual recreation passes for its employees.

“Zia is thrilled to receive this incentive from the City of Boulder,” said Mike Mahon, President and CEO of Zia Consulting.  “It’s always been our hope to grow the business while remaining in Boulder and this rebate has helped make it possible for Zia to establish its new, worldwide headquarters here.  With our marked success over the past few years, we have doubled our revenue and exponentially grown our employee base. It’s great to move to a location that will allow Zia to continue to grow.”
