Where does the word Zia come from?
Our name and our corporate logo are derived from the sun symbol which originated with the Indians of the Zia Pueblo in ancient times. Its design reflects the basic harmony of all things in the universe. The Zia believed that man has four sacred obligations: he must develop a strong body, a clear mind, a pure spirit and a devotion to the welfare of his people. As a company we feel a strong affinity to these values.
