Description

Zia is seeking a motivated solutions engineer (SE) to join a dynamic team of consultants, technologists, and digital-change agents who are dedicated to making their customers successful.

As a solutions engineer, you will work closely with sales to uncover and maximize opportunities by understanding customer needs and envisioning future-state solutions for the customer. You will help the customer understand how to get to the future state by establishing trust, leading technical and non-technical discussions, and illustrating the art of the possible through demonstrations, proofs of concepts, and presentations.

Responsibilities
  • Research, explore, and identify customer business problems and goals
  • Identify and develop innovative solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Operate as a technical quarterback to architect and craft a differentiated solution/offering that aligns with the customer’s business cases and business strategy
  • Deliver and evangelize Zia solutions and offerings with creativity
  • Support Zia’s sales directors throughout the entire sales opportunity life-cycle, which includes:
    • Active participation in discovery calls
    • Building and delivering virtual or live solution demonstrations, presentations, proofs of concept, and integrations with partner solutions
    • Authoring and collaborating on the creation of solution proposals
  • Develop project scope documentation, statements of work, technical specifications, business requirements, and proposals related to customer engagements
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and effectively
  • Handle in-depth technical questions and inquiries in email and during sales calls/meetings
  • Facilitate technical training sessions and solution design as part of presales activities
  • Own the technical win and take responsibility for driving the technical deal forward
  • Contribute to the achievement of team booking targets
  • Facilitate technical collaboration with delivery teams through the customer lifecycle
  • Travel to engage with customers and prospects
  • Travel to Boulder, CO quarterly for Zia Sales QBR
Qualifications
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience required; preferably in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience in professional software development, consulting, professional services, or solutions engineering—including experience as a team or technical leader
  • Prior successful technology sales experience or experience in a customer-facing technology role
  • Self-motivated with natural curiosity; a desire to learn, solve problems, and take action
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where ambiguity is common
  • Stellar interpersonal skills and strong team values
  • Excellent presentation skills and composure with the ability to establish trust across a range of technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • History of overachievement in previous roles
Required
  • Hands-on implementation experience in digital transformation as it relates to ECM, BPM, workflow automation, data intelligence, intelligent capture, or other enterprise platforms
  • Experience in, or an understanding of, different software development methodologies, including Agile and iterative development methodologies
  • Object-oriented design and development experience including the use of UML and modeling tools
  • Moderate to expert experience in JavaScript or Java development and version control (preferably Git)
  • Hands-on experience with open source technologies, Spring, web services (REST, SOAP), JSON, etc.
  • Web application development experience with JavaScript (and common JS libraries), CSS, HTML, DOM, jQuery, etc.
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience with enterprise and systems integration concepts and technologies
  • Ability to lead architectural discussions
  • A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers
Preferred
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, cloud computing concepts, and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, and other comparable platforms)
  • Familiarity with SaaS and cloud architecture patterns
  • Moderate- to expert-level experience in content management (cloud/ECM), capture, BPM, workflow automation, robotic process automation (RPA), data intelligence, and related technologies. Technologies may include:
    • ECM: Alfresco, Box, Documentum, FileNet, CMOD, SharePoint, Mobius, etc.
    • Scanning solutions: Ephesoft, Kofax, Captiva, ABBYY, Nuance, RecoStar, etc.
    • BPM and workflow solutions: BPMN 2.0, Alfresco, Activiti, Nintex, etc.

Project Manager, Boulder, CO
Description:

Responsible for all aspects of Zia customer engagements including: proposal development, staffing, project execution, control, closeout, and, ultimately, customer satisfaction. Leads the project and retains overall responsibility for delivery including cost, schedule, quality control, deliverables, and contractual compliance. Identifies and utilizes company resources to achieve project objectives; establishes task priorities, assignment, and completion; ensures quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting project/client deadlines and budget constraints. Serves as the client liaison on project matters and is capable of acting as business analyst and quality assurance leads for smaller projects. Identifies and reports any potential changes or suggestions to project scope, budget, and schedule. Coordinates training of new personnel under the project to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Required:

Successful candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or other related scientific or technical discipline
  • Experience in aspects of the overall project lifecycle
  • Proficient with multiple project methodologies: Agile, Iterative, PMI
  • Five to 10 years’ experience, of which a minimum of three years must be specialized in enterprise content management (ECM)
  • Specialized experience including: complete discovery and assessment of project requirements from inception to deployment and ongoing production support
  • Experience in management and control of budget and resources as well as a demonstrated capability in managing complex, multi-phase engagements

Must have interpersonal and leadership skills; collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills; as well as excellent communication skills—both written and spoken.

ECM Architect, Boulder, CO
Description:

We are looking to hire an ECM architect who will serve as technical lead on consulting engagements. Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting with clients or project stakeholders to understand legacy systems and processes; identifying functional and technical requirements; and proposing a technical solution to meet the client’s needs
  • Communicating the proposed solution to the client and stakeholders including architecture, high-level estimates of effort and duration, risks, and costs associated with proposed solution

Description:

We are looking to hire an ECM staff developer who will be responsible for working with architects, lead engineers, and customers to design and implement ECM solutions for our clients. Specific responsibilities:
