When applications are received they are easily put into the system through automatic Social Security Number recognition. The document is placed into Alfresco where it is processed, classified, and extracted and placed into the correct policy folder. Any missing information is reported to the underwriter so the applicant can be contacted. Repstor integration can take automation a step further by automatically pushing frequently received documents into the auto-process folder or suggesting the appropriate location to the user.

Underwriters can notify agents of the application process via email which is sent using Covertix SmartCipher technology, the email as well as any attachments are automatically encrypted. Should anyone but the intended user receive it, the email and document cannot be viewed. The system will declare all documents as records and completes the lifecycle of the applications process—records have disposition and retention automatically applied.
