Alfresco Activiti and Nexant
Alfresco has released a new case study on their recent work with Nexant, a globally-recognized software, consulting, and services leader that provides innovative solutions to utilities, energy enterprises, chemical companies, and government entities worldwide. It is always exciting to see our partners succeed—even more so when we were able to be a part of it.
Upon the start of this project, Alfresco called us with a consulting opportunity to ensure—and provide proof—that Activiti was the ideal solution for Nexant. This is a true success story for open source software. As so many companies do, Nexant was able to prove out the value and implementation by testing development on the community version of software. Once Nexant had proven the software and approach were going to be successful, Zia assisted in moving the implementation to the enterprise version and making sure things went smoothly during the implementation. At the end of the project, there was a happy customer which means happy partners. It was a job well done by all. Alfresco’s open business model is truly a differentiator for the next generation of enterprise content management systems.
